Episode 3 of The Penny Jam features 2 songs, an original, “Stalker Girl” and a cover of Social Distortion song “Ball and Chain.” Chris Boone has been playing music all across the country for more than 20 years though his current lineup is a product of Portland. This episode was filmed at Loprinzi’s Gym on 41st and Division, which has a classic charm you don’t see in most health clubs. The owner Bob Hill, gave us free run of the place for a couple hours and despite some concerns, the acoustics of the place were quite good.
