Magic Johnson at the Dollar Scholar

Magic Johnson brings their brand of Spanish punk to the brightly lit and fantastically toy-filled Dollar Scholar on 33rd and Hawthorne. A small crowd of supporters came to watch the band and the regular customers browsed the goods between takes. Scott, the owner, didn’t seem phased at all about letting us set up during open hours. Coincidentally Mando and Ana from Magic Johnson just popped up in the new New Bloods video “Doubles” over on Pitchfork TV.
